Great service and beautiful interiors with Sri Lankan touch. Comfortable bed and clean rooms with air conditioning made it easier to escape the heat. The location of the villa is an advantage as it is close to restaurants and cafes. Breakfast is personalised to your preference, allowing a homely touch.

The villa requires maintenance. Mouldy walls, mosquitoes, frustrating bathroom taps, and poor water pressure.

the wifi didn't work andvthe tv didn't work and the next morning we got told that we can't have breakfast before 8.00 but at 8.30 we gave up waiting because we didn't even got a cup of tea yet. the service and managment needs too improve big style. we would have considered staying another night in Galle, but not under this cirtumstences

rooms were large. the location was only a short distance to the main attractions in galle, like fort. the hotel was centrally located.

The location of the hotel in the Galle fort area is great, with plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants nearby. We were able to explore the fort and enjoy the bustling streets just a few steps from the hotel.

The hotel is seriously in need of refurbishment. Some areas of the hotel, including the common areas, could use some updating to improve the overall ambiance and comfort.

Only one lounge chair in the room, no table by this. There is a writing bureau. The verandah outside had 2 seats with table but could not sit there in evening to read from mosquitos and too dark. The room itself had really bad lighting. Not much of a view as garden where Verandah looks onto is the rear wall of the adjoining house. The end bedroom window which looks out has a slightly better view, so this is the room to ask for. The overall price was 25% more than advertised as the service charge is 12% BEWARE. So our total bill was close to £200 a night, which was not worth it for the fact that the swimming pool was in the sister Lighthouse Hotel only accessible by a (complimentary) tuk-tuk ride through traffic! Not very relaxing.

The manager Udara was a great host. Helped me out with finding way around Galle and places to see, eat and drink. Also helped out some of my friends that were not even staying at the hotel when they had a problem with ATM at the bank. Really went out of his wy to be helpful. Hotel was also nice and quite.

Lovely home feel atmosphere stay, with friendly and helpful staff. Sri Lankan breakfast is awesome, just make sure to give your choice in advance. The location is picturesque, right in the Dutch fort and a 5-minute walk to the sea. Quaint streets and nice eateries nearby.

Rooms lack a good Wi-Fi signal, which is only available in the common areas. Some rooms can feel stuffy and have no view.

The hotel provided us with air-conditioning, a good breakfast, helpful staff, and a large room with a large bathroom. We also enjoyed the great atmosphere. The location was excellent, with shops, restaurants, and historical sights just a short walk away. We were able to easily access the Indian Ocean and beautiful beaches by tuktuk. We especially loved dining at Fort Printers.

We stayed at this place recently and we were very happy with our stay. The location is fantastic, right within the historic Fort area. We loved exploring the fascinating streets and buildings around here. The service was top-notch, with the staff going out of their way to ensure our comfort. They even arranged a complimentary dinner for us at their sister hotel, where we had the chance to meet the General Manager. The room amenities were great too, with a balcony, air conditioning, and a television. The dining options were excellent, and the breakfast was one of the best we had during our trip. We also enjoyed the leisure facilities, including the swimming pool, and the free Wi-Fi was very useful. we highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
